Austin Buffalo 39/50

The print is a 2 color silkscreen printed on top of historical topographic maps of the greater Austin area.  The artist prints the maps on French text-weight papers, which are produced in Niles, Michigan.  Once he has the maps, he hand pulls the silkscreen and then signs and numbers each print.

About the Artist: Tom Shaw is a graphic designer and printmaker based in Wilmington, NC. His work spans concert posters, fine art prints, and large-scale graphic design projects. Tom is a hands-on, detail-driven artist who has earned industry recognition and a proud member of the 1% for the Planet club, donating a portion of his proceeds to environmental and community-focused nonprofits.
