Bernie Coleman resides in Georgetown, Texas and has always had a passion for drawing and painting. In his youth, he wanted to be an artist and did many pencil drawings. In high school he was always commissioned to create the backdrops for various school functions. In his first year in college, he majored in commercial art. There he learned how to use other mediums of art.  Despite his love for art, he needed to make a living for his new young family and pursued a career in aviation. He graduated from Aviation Maintenance Technology and Pilots School receiving his Airframe & Powerplant and Commercial Pilots degree.
After living and painting in Hawaii for decades, Bernie has come to Texas to continue his painting career and debut his work in the continental 48s here at Ao5 Gallery.
