THE TURKEYS ARE BACK!  

Christmas is coming, and an elementary school classroom is quickly transformed for the season. Thanksgiving cutouts are swept aside, twinkling lights appear, and brightly wrapped presents take their place. Stuffed into a drawer and hidden from view, the turkey hands can’t help but wonder: Why are they no longer part of the fun?

Once the teacher leaves, their curiosity gets the better of them. Presents are shaken, ribbons go flying, and before long the turkey hands find themselves in the middle of a full-blown holiday showdown.

But as Thanksgiving and Christmas collide, the turkey hands begin to discover that belonging to a celebration doesn’t always mean being at the center of it. Sometimes the best way to join the joy is to help create it for someone else.
