BIO

Jon Van Allen is a Texas artist that creates with a style that is as diverse as Texas itself. Being a Navy kid, Jon moved every two years or so all over the United States, and always by car. This early perspective of the west coast to the east coast (and back again!) was the clear impetus of Jon’s work today.

He loves buildings and different perspectives. From deserts to farms to small towns and neighborhoods, he loves the whimsy of nature and architecture which balances out in his original, surreal-esque paintings. From the familiar to the curious, Jon’s work is accessible, visually stimulating, and will inevitably start a conversation in any room in which his work hangs.
